CJC/Ipamorelin (No DAC)

CJC/Ipamorelin (No DAC) is a two-component research blend supplied as 5 mg of each peptide in a single vial. The first is CJC-1295 without DAC (modified GRF(1-29)), a tetrasubstituted, C-terminally amidated 29-residue analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone. The second is ipamorelin (Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2), a synthetic pentapeptide growth hormone secretagogue.

The two components act through distinct receptors. Modified GRF(1-29) is an agonist of the GHRH receptor, a class B G protein-coupled receptor coupled to cAMP. Ipamorelin is an agonist of GHS-R1a, the ghrelin receptor. Ipamorelin was characterised as the first selective GH secretagogue: in pituitary-cell and in vivo animal models it released GH without the ACTH or cortisol elevations reported for earlier GH-releasing peptides. The tetrasubstituted GRF(1-29) scaffold was characterised in rat anterior-pituitary GRF-receptor studies. The combination is used in research on the interplay between GHRH-receptor and GHS-R1a signalling in the regulation of somatotroph GH release.
