Molecular profile
Cagri/GLP-3RT is a two-component blend of cagrilintide and retatrutide (5 mg each) in a single vial. Cagrilintide is a 37-residue acylated amylin analogue with a Cys2–Cys7 disulfide bond, an N-terminal C20 fatty diacid attached through a γ-glutamate linker, and a C-terminal prolinamide. Retatrutide (LY3437943) is a 39-residue lipidated peptide containing Aib at positions 2 and 20, α-methyl-leucine at position 13, a C20 fatty diacid side chain on Lys17 and a C-terminal amide.
Cagrilintide has been characterised as a long-acting, non-selective agonist of amylin (AMY1–3) and calcitonin receptors. Retatrutide has been characterised as a single-molecule agonist of the GIP, GLP-1 and glucagon receptors. Both compounds are used in receptor-pharmacology assays and in rodent studies of energy balance, food intake and glucose homeostasis; the combined format supports co-exposure experiments on amylin-pathway and incretin/glucagon-pathway signalling.
Supplied as a lyophilized powder in a sealed vial.
For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
